Hi, I'm Amelia. I'm 17 and a senior at Maine Coast Waldorf School. A couple of years ago I started a small summer camp at my mom's school, the Heartfelt School. Last summer Clancy and I ran the camp together. We had so much fun designing projects and coming up with ideas for the children. During the stay at home order when the Heartfelt School was closed Clancy and I helped my mom prepare packages for the school children. During the summer of 2020, instead of running our summer camp again, due to all of the restrictions, we offered the next best thing! I love art, stories, and working with young children. Our little flowers subscription combined them all. This year I was really excited to be able to run our camp again! I love working with children, playing games with them, and making lots of art!

Hi, I'm Clancy. I am a senior at Yarmouth High School. In 2019 I volunteered at the Little Flowers camp that Amelia and I planned and created together. At the camp, Amelia and I created different activities for the children to do throughout the day. We also read stories to them in the morning. Along with that, Amelia and I helped the Heartfelt school make and deliver packages to school families during the stay at home order in the spring of 2020. I enjoy spending my time outside of school playing lacrosse, soccer, and basketball. In addition, I like to babysit children because I like being around children. I have had so much fun working with the Heartfelt School and I was very excited to be back in person for camp this summer!

Hi, I'm Julian. I'm 14 years old and I'm going into eighth grade at Maine Coast Waldorf School. I have done some baby sitting and during the quarantine when the Heartfelt School moved to remote learning I did “bunny time” for the children online. I really enjoyed reading stories, singing songs and sharing my bunnies with the children. I have four bunnies , Oreo, Sweetpea, Cinder, and Prim. I like spending time with children, spending time outdoors, swimming in the ocean, playing sports, skateboarding, building and creating things.

Hi, I’m Sasha. I'm 15 years old and going into tenth grade at Waynflete school in Portland, Maine. My favorite classes in school are Chinese and English. At the beginning of the year I started learning American Sign Language as well. I love being outside, exploring, and spending time with my friends. I spend most of my free time playing soccer, basketball, and this year being the JV lacrosse captain. I also surf, paint, and have my own tea business in which I sell locally sourced tea bags on etsy. I have always loved spending time with children and last summer I created a two week summer camp in cape elizabeth which included tons of arts and crafts and fun times outdoors. I have lots of previous babysitting experience as well as my current job at the Duckfat Frite shack in Portland. In the previous years I have attended as well as helped out with the Heartfelt School summer camp. I had an amazing summer this year with our Little Flowers Summer Camp!
